professional development, Consulting, & Training workshops

At Kaigen Coaching, we believe that the strength, resilience, productivity, effectiveness of the group is a function of the health, well-being and emotional resilience of the individual. Therefore, the Kaigen professional development and training workshop series aims to provide groups (e.g. work group, team, athletics) with an opportunity to engage individuals in strengthening their resilience in the face of adversity, ability to embrace change, manage stress, and communicate in ways that effectively build clarity, trust, and cohesion within a work group / team. Training workshops also aim to strengthen mindful communication, which challenges each person to practice a clear, present and focused mindset and implement various strategies, tools and techniques to management stress as it arises in various forms (e.g. emotional, physical, mental).

These interactive training workshops are customized to address the specific needs and interest of your company, organization or team and integrates research-based concepts, life lessons with practical tips and tools. Participants are encouraged to create and commit to a personal practice that supports concepts explored during each training workshop. Additional support beyond the group trainings can be provided to your team and discussed at the time of the initial group training consultation.

  • Mindful Communication is a practice of being clear, present and focused in our communication and connection with others, thus, enhancing our relationships in our personal and professional lives. Mindful communication often challenges us to manage our stress, and be self-aware of our emotions and our mindset.

  • Oftentimes, we think about “getting rid” of stress, when in fact, research suggests that we need an optimum level of stress for peak performance. Therefore, this training explores the various components of stress and assists you in developing tools to optimize your experience of stress to support high performance living in your personal & professional life.

  • A “habit of mind” refers to the patterns and ways of thinking about situations, experiences, and relationships that have accumulated over our lifetime and may continue to unconsciously influence our quality of life for better or worse. This training supports your exploration of your “habit of mind” and gives you tools on how to change it for the better.

  • Meditation is a practice of establishing a new habit of mind focused on the present moment. Training focuses on the exploration of different forms of meditation to develop an individualized practice that supports a mindful mindset for each participant.

  • As humans, we are emotional beings, yet, we are not often guided and provided the tools needed to engage with the emotional experiences of our life. Emotions bring the vibrancy and passion to our everyday life. Therefore, this training explores how to connect and find the value and purpose of our emotions to support our overall health and well-being (e.g. physical, mental and emotional).
